How much does EMDR therapy cost in Sarajevo?
Short answer
The first phone call lasts twenty minutes and is free of charge. An individual session is fifty minutes and costs 80 KM, the same in person and online. A six-week group cycle is 240 KM in total. There are no packages and no commitment — you can stop after any session.

A range you can plan against
For a single recent event, usually six to twelve sessions. For something long-running or from childhood, longer. The first two or three are history and preparation.
I give a firmer estimate after the initial assessment. If cost is the obstacle, say so on the first call — I keep a limited number of lower-fee slots.

About paying
How do I pay?
Cash at the end of the session or by bank transfer, whichever suits you. For online sessions, transfer before the appointment. You get a receipt if you ask for one — tell me what name it should be in.
Does health insurance cover it?
Compulsory health insurance in Bosnia and Herzegovina does not cover private psychotherapy. Some supplementary and employer policies cover part — check with your insurer and ask me for a receipt with whatever details they need.
What if I cancel?
Let me know the day before and I do not charge. If you cannot manage that, get in touch when you can — I will not ask why and I do not keep a record of it.
Do you charge more for longer processing sessions?
No. Some therapists run ninety-minute processing sessions and charge double. I work in fifty minutes and plan processing so that it fits, because a session that overruns has not been closed properly.
